JUMBO’s Management Associates (MA) Programme offers a distinctive opportunity for emerging talents to accelerate their progression towards leadership roles. This programme is tailored for talented individuals with the aptitude and passion to advance their careers in the dynamic F&B sector.
Sponsorship: Under the JUMBO MA Programme, trainees will receive fully-sponsored education (diploma or degree) under the JUMBO scholarship, with a minimum bond period of two years.
Approach: The MA Programme adopts a two-phase approach to facilitate the trainee’s development:
- Phase 1: Management Associates start at entry-level positions within JUMBO Group, progressing to Assistant Supervisor position within 18 months.
- Phase 2: Management Associates with proven performance will transition to a Fast Track Programme in preparation for advancement to higher management roles.
The programme is supported by a seamless integration of synchronous, asynchronous, and on-the-job workplace learning methodologies. This innovative combination ensures that trainees benefit from both real-time interactions and self-paced learning, resulting in a robust and engaging educational experience.
Criteria: We are looking for candidates who fulfil the following criteria.
- Graduates with either degree or diploma,
- Have keen interest in the F&B industry.
- Optional but would be a bonus: Prior participation in F&B-related programmes, part-time jobs or training courses.
Suitable candidates are required to attend interview(s) with the Company. We will assess the candidate's interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and overall fit with the organisation's culture during the interview.

Our Fast Track Programme presents a dedicated pathway to help current talents within the JUMBO Group expedite their career progression into management positions. This Programme is specifically designed for exceptional individuals with proven performance and aptitude who demonstrate the passion and desire to advance their careers within our organisation.
Approach: The Programme follows a structured two-phase approach to facilitate talent progression.
- Phase 1: Selected employees who are currently in non-management positions will progress to the Senior Captain level within 12 months.
- Phase 2: These employees will further advance into management roles and move up from Assistant Supervisor to Assistant Restaurant Manager within 18 months.
The Programme is supported by a seamless integration of synchronous, asynchronous, and on-the-job workplace learning methodologies. This innovative combination ensures that employees benefit from both real-time interactions and self-paced learning, resulting in a robust and engaging educational experience.

Transforming careers: In partnership with ITE, JUMBO is redefining workforce development through the transformative JUMBO Workforce Resilience Scholarship x ITE Work Study Diploma. This joint programme between JUMBO and ITE provides employment opportunities alongside academic pursuits for ITE graduates, mid-career switchers, and returning professionals.
Approach: The 2.5-year programme follows a structured apprenticeship-based Diploma curriculum jointly delivered by JUMBO & ITE.
- Phase 1: Application and acceptance
- Candidates for the WSDip will be shortlisted for interviews.
- Successful candidates will be offered employment contracts with JUMBO and begin full-time employment as official WSDip trainees.
- Phase 2: Work-Study
- On-the-Job Training (OJT): JUMBO Mentors will guide WSDip trainees at the assigned workplace.
- Study: WSDip trainees will be released from work for academic lessons at the ITE Campus according to their class schedules.
